Kisterem’s booth at this year’s Budapest Contemporary is centred around the theme of vision, exploring its contemporary interpretations. The exhibited works examine the boundaries of perception, observation, and visuality: from the physical characteristics of human vision to the interpretation of visual phenomena, the differences between perception and digital imaging, and surveillance as an activity that defines our shared present. Some works project fictional visions of the future, while others reflect on the technological and social dimensions of seeing.
