Hungarian multidisciplinary artist Reka Lorincz works across contemporary jewellery design, conceptual sculpture, moving image, and text-based art, as well as energetic healing. Her work examines universal themes within contemporary human existence through a personal lens, such as productivity, agency, potentiality, embodiment, and non-linear systems of knowledge, drawing on collective consciousness and the interconnection of mind, body, and spirit. Resisting one-dimensional categorisation, she sees the different pillars of her practice as parts of the same, fluid web of concerns and interpretations, manifested and transmitted through different media. These in turn feed into one another and inform the artist’s own life and practice.
